Court docs reveal secret Elon Musk children with long-term Musk exec

Elon Musk and current Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis have twin children, according to a Business Insider article. Zilis and Musk requested a name change for both of their children in a court document dated May, requesting that "the children's last name be their father's, and for their mother's last name to be contained in their middle name." A Travis County, Texas, court record obtained by CNN Business reveals that the petition was submitted in April 2022 and received in May.

Musk tweeted, "Doing my best to help the underpopulation situation," seemingly in response to the article. The greatest threat to society is a collapse in the birth rate, and, note my words, they are unfortunately true.

Zilis graduated from Yale, and since 2017, he has worked for Musk's startup Neuralink, which develops brain-computer interface technologies. She also mentions employment with OpenAI, the nonprofit AI safety organisation Musk helped form, beginning in 2016 as well as employment with Tesla Motors from 2017 to 2019 working on AI with the Autopilot and chip design teams. Since 2020, she has served on the OpenAI board of directors.
